Our Core Rehab program can be beneficial for individuals of all ages and fitness levels who seek to improve their core strength, alleviate pain, prevent injuries, and enhance their overall physical performance and well-being

 

What is Core Rehabilitation?

Core rehabilitation, often referred to as core rehab, is a specialized approach aimed at restoring and improving the function and strength of the core muscles. The core muscles are a group of muscles located in the abdomen, lower back, pelvis, and hips. They provide stability, support, and facilitate movement throughout the body.
 
At LiveWell Health and Physiotherapy, you will work with Heidi in our customized Core Rehab Program. This program typically involves targeted exercises and movements designed to address weaknesses, imbalances, or injuries in the core muscles. To begin this treatment, you must be assessed by one of our Physiotherapist and then be referred by that therapist into our Core Rehab Program.

Booking for our Core Rehab program is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is schedule an assessment with one of our experienced Physiotherapists. During the assessment, the Physiotherapist will evaluate your current condition, identify any weaknesses or imbalances in your core muscles, and determine if core rehab is suitable for you.

Following the assessment, if it is determined that core rehab is beneficial for your needs, the Physiotherapist will refer you to our Core Rehab program. You’ll then have the opportunity to work with our dedicated Pilates instructor, Heidi, who will guide you through a series of targeted exercises and movements designed to strengthen your core muscles and improve your overall function and well-being.
