Dr. Ariana Candaras, ND, graduated from the University of Guelph, earning her BSc. in Biological Science. She went on to complete her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM).
Ariana runs a general practice and welcomes anyone seeking positive changes in their health, from younger children to older adults. She has a special interest in mental health, stress management, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, and skin conditions. Specific conditions include, but are not limited to:
– Anxiety, Depression, mood disorders
– Acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and hives
– Hormonal and Menstrual concerns, from menarche to menopause
– Gas, bloating, food intolerances, IBS, and IBD
– Pediatric care
Ariana strives to make better health attainable, simple, and sustainable for all patients who walk through her door. She advocates for maintaining a balanced lifestyle and making health a priority to bring focus back to living a more enjoyable and meaningful life.
Naturopathic medicine is a philosophy, and Ariana practices it herself by maintaining an active, social, and environmentally conscious lifestyle. She wants her patients to wholly thrive with what naturopathic medicine has to offer.
Ariana chose naturopathic medicine because it works with the body’s ability to heal itself and incorporates mental and physical health and beyond.
In her spare time, Ariana enjoys sewing, reading, practicing yoga, attending concerts, and exploring local restaurants.
