Locations Danielle is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist and Pedorthic Technician with over 20 years of experience in orthopedics.
She specializes in hand crafted custom made orthotics, orthopaedic footwear including footwear modifications and compression stockings. Her professionalism, excellent clinical skills, and insights into patient’s ailments are just a few of Danielle’s strong attributes.
Certified Pedorthist in Kitchener, Ontario
Danielle completed her Pedorthic Certification through the College of Pedorthics in 1996, after several years as an apprentice.
After completing her specialized Certification, she worked for several years at orthotics clinics in her home city of Burlington, Ontario.
In 2003, Danielle, started The Foot Smith, which continues to grow to this day. During this time she also worked for 4 years in other orthotics clinics in Waterloo and Cambridge.
She regularly attends seminars to update her knowledge as a Pedorthist to learn new techniques, materials and gain insight. She enjoys volunteering as a proctor for the Pedorthic College for new Pedorthists entering the industry.
When she is not in the office, Danielle enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jonathan and her three children, Issaac, Samuel and Iris. If not at the dojo, soccer or pool, Danielle can be found with her family camping, gardening or relaxing with family and friends.
Danielle is dedicated to providing professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. It is this passion that drives her desire to provide a high level of care and commitment to craftsmanship that everyone deserves.
